Workshops for teachers and mediators

The workshops that will be taught are:

1. Imaginary travel logs Alicia Villarreal (From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.): The environment will be creatively observed in educational contexts from the visual arts and imaginary travel routes will be designed, highlighting five postures or attitudes in the way of observing the environment. 
2. Errands for a forgotten maritorio /Nataniel Álvarez/ Liquen Lab (From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.): Through a series of activations (sound recordings of whales, sounds of the sea, message-images, etc.), we will reflect on inhabiting and imagining our territories/maritimes and a poetic/sound piece will be created that will be projected in the Strait of Magellan.
3. Public art and muralism: Messages from a shared city / Marcelo Espinoza and Julia Romero (From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.): There will be a tour of various murals in the vicinity of GAM. This active walk will encourage observation, senses and dialogue about the city and urban art, concluding with a joint work called "The message of a shared city." The pedagogical notebook “Public Art and Muralism” from the MINCAP Artistic Education Collection will be delivered. 
4. Rock al Patio Live: School Musical Production /German Torres/Rock al patio (From 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.): A practical – experiential workshop will be held with a collaborative approach, to explore music as a transversal pedagogical resource and learn about musical production strategies applicable in school contexts. The above is in the context of the collaboration agreement between the Music and Education Foundation and the CPEIP. 
5. Mediate Mistral/National Reading Plan (12 to 2 p.m.): This module involves complementary participation in a second elective module (Creative writing strategies in reading mediation processes, or, Introduction to creative writing workshop, which will be held during PM hours). The specialist Marta Suárez will invite you to reflect on reading mediation, analyzing how Mistral defines good storytelling and the work of the mediator. We will work on how to foster interest in reading, reviewing various texts by Mistral.
6. Creative writing strategies in reading mediation processes/National Reading Plan (3 to 5 p.m.): Complementary elective to the Mediar a Mistral module. Mediator Francisca Werth will give an introduction to mediation, which will include reading, literary conversation, creative writing and text editing. Writing tools will be worked on to strengthen the mediation of reading. 
7. Introduction to creative writing workshop/National Reading Plan (3 to 5 p.m.): Complementary elective to the Mediar a Mistral module. The writer and poet Ivone Coñuecar will carry out a review from theory, which reveals concepts and implementation of exercises and readings, around creative writing. A reading dossier will be reviewed with texts from authors who collaborate in the creation of texts, both in poetry, short stories and short stories, performing creative writing exercises with the participants.
