Five Mapuche sisters, poor, after 25 years, and after having migrated to the capital, return to the place where they decided to take justice into their own hands to perform an ancestral rite that restores their peace. During the time of preparation for the rite, the five sisters talk about their childhood pains, trying to leave behind a life full of outrages, precariousness, abuse and multiple violence.
One of the leading characters in this chain of abuses and violence is boss Jarpa, who embodies the most retrograde positions of the Chilean countryside latifundia. Jarpa, as if he were a feudal lord who has absolute right over his servants and servants, appropriates the sisters' work, steals their crops, their animals and wool, humiliates them, denies them education and sexually abuses them. Executing Jarpa means finding individual but also collective justice, hence the urgency of extirpating guilt 25 years later.
