The Chilotes have a reputation for being storytellers. So inventing a white lie such as that the documentary filmmaker Ignacio Agüero is going to shoot his first fiction film in Chiloé based on a true story (but which is false), was not a crazy idea.
The mechanism sought to cause other stories to appear, to open other directions, in an area where myths are commonplace. The result is bright and full of graceful and fun moments. The most interesting thing is that it does not have a particular theme. You simply have to see and appreciate their little discoveries like the toothless old woman who can't quite remember the names of all her children or those castings of students trying to show a talent that allows them to participate in the film. They are not stories, they are fragments of stories, images of language, of voices, that inadvertently and together, become the exploration of a popular soul.
