The playwriting meeting organized by the Santiago Off Foundation in alliance with the Contemporary European Playwriting Meeting, will take place between October 14 and 18 at GAM. The activities, completely free, include dramatized readings of national and European texts and a dramaturgical specialization seminar.
This year, 2019, the outstanding dramaturgy cycle will be held in alliance with the Meeting of Contemporary European Dramaturgy (EDEC) and will feature the highlights of dramaturgy from France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Chile. As in its previous versions, it is an instance of training and dramatized readings of avant-garde proposals, particularly in the field of writing.
Among the most important guests are: the German playwright Dea Loher, the French Alexandra Badea and the British Chris Thorpe, in addition to the prominent national playwrights, Lucia de la Maza, Carla Zúñiga and Coca Duarte.
In the educational field, “La Rebelión de las Voces 9” includes a dramaturgical specialization seminar, aimed at students and professionals of the performing arts, with the aim of inspiring writing processes through reflections on various contemporary themes.
The registration form for the seminars will be available from Monday, October 7 at www.santiagooff.com and admission for the dramatized readings will be on a first-come, first-served basis until the capacity of the room is reached.
