A new space dedicated to the illustrated book and illustration in all its forms, celebrating creativity, diversity and editorial excellence.
La Furia del Libro presents: La Furia Ilustrada, an event dedicated exclusively to the illustrated edition in all its forms. This new meeting seeks to open space for proposals that work on illustrated books and illustration with quality, originality and diversity.
During this edition, the Colibrí Medal will be awarded, a prize awarded by IBBY Chile in recognition of excellence in illustrated children's and youth literature. In addition, the LIJ Association of Professional Illustrators of Chile (ADIP) will offer a workshop on intellectual rights for illustrators, with the aim of providing key tools for the professional exercise of the trade.
La Furia Ilustrada was born to make visible, bring together and promote the richness of the illustrated edition, consolidating itself as an essential meeting point for publishers, artists, readers and lovers of visual books.
