More than 150 independent publishers bring books, promotions and activities to the ninth version of the fair. 

More than 2,800 titles from 148 Chilean independent publishers and three international guests will have the ninth version of the Book Fury. For four days, books will be the protagonists of the offer and activities. Publishers such as Amanuta, Ceibo, Chancacazo, Cuarto Propio, Cuneta, Das Kapital, Hueders, Calabaza del Diablo, LOM, Montacerdos, Ocho Libros and Tajamar will participate. The international guests are the Peruvian Estruendomudo and the Argentine Godot and La Cebra.

The books will be divided by genre. In the Central Plaza, renamed the Plaza de las Letras, titles of novels, short stories, poetry, essays and social sciences will be grouped together. Plaza Oriente will be renamed Plaza de la Imagen and will bring together comics, graphic novels, illustrated books, fanzines, object books and children's and youth literature.

There are 20 scheduled releases, such as Hastío (or variations on the same), by Armando Uribe, which will take place on Friday the 11th at 8 p.m. Its launch will be accompanied by the screening of Pre-Apocalipsis, a film by Rodrigo Goncalves about Uribe filmed during the period when the poet was writing Hastío. There are also conversations, music, children's activities and readings.

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Gabriela Mistral's Nobel Prize, La Furia will dedicate its inauguration, a conversation table and a promotion to her. The table on Sunday the 13th at 6:30 p.m. will be about his pedagogical thinking. A Book for a Gabriela is the promotion that will offer titles for 5 thousand pesos. The inauguration will be on Thursday the 10th at 7 p.m. and will have Chilean poets reading Mistral followed by a special performance of the Argentine play Gabriela infinity.
