The cueca: Memory and color

“The cueca, memory and color” will be an entertaining journey through time and history through the national dance. There will be urban cueca classes and a workshop for people of all ages and physical conditions.

There will be four theoretical classes on history, identity and memory, as well as practical classes to learn about structure, flourish, handkerchief and attitude. Participants will learn to walk with a certain pulse, the characteristic steps of the cueca and coordination exercises to achieve brushing and tapping.

The two teachers in charge are the founders of the “Chile Cuequero” project, who work on the personality and attitude of each participant, so that they lose their fear when dancing.
