Sports, cultural and musical activities will give life to the party that will be inspired by the iconic SUEDE sneaker model.
The day is inspired by SUEDE, the iconic sneaker that turns 47 years old in 2015. With hundreds of color variants and different evolution processes, SUEDE is a model with origins in sport (running and basketball) that, naturally and with the passage of time, has been validated in different disciplines more linked to streetwear, such as North American Hip Hop and Breakdance in the early nineties or today skateboarding. The main stage of the event will be located in the Central Plaza, where renowned national artists such as Movimiento Original, Seo2, C-Funk, Sonido Ácido and Bronko Yotte will provide music for the day.
A Skate ramp in the Plaza Oriente will allow the young skater María José Rojas to present the best tricks of this action sport, interspersing her presence with a musical selection made by Rootz Hi Fi. The dancer Yeimy Navarro, meanwhile, prepares a dance intervention.
In PUMA Lab, meanwhile, workshops and talks will be held led by Alberto Montt (with a focus on illustration and the iconic Suede), Federico Sánchez, Pablo Bahamonde and Tomás Olivera, who will recapitulate the history of the product.
