Module 1
Wednesday, October 26
“Dramaturgism”

The first module will address a specific way of practicing playwriting, a discipline that is quite little known in the country, despite the long tradition it has in other countries, such as Germany, where M. Soledad Lagos earned her doctorate and worked as a university professor and researcher. 

Module 2
Thursday, October 27:
“Musical composition as a dramaturgical tool”
Prof. Felipe Sandoval and Francisco Moreira (Sixth Floor Group)

The module that the musicians of Sexto Piso will carry out for La Rebelión de las Voces will consist of an analytical exposition of various texts in Chilean popular music from different periods, to review their most common forms, structures and resources and their relationship with musical composition, with the aim of contributing to the development of a musicalized textual discourse and taking advantage of metric and rhythmic limitations as a strength to adequately communicate an idea. The use of musicalized texts and their transliteration to other forms of art will be discussed and reflected on, and finally, an attempt will be made to create a text suitable for musicalization based on a concept.

Module 3
Friday, October 28:
“Collective dramaturgy: Latin American identity in theatrical creation”
Prof. Miguel Bregante (Cia. La Mona Ilustre)

In this module, an approach to the work of the actor - playwright is proposed, exploring in depth the expressive possibilities of the body, through games, exercises and improvisations, to enhance body and spatial awareness as a basis for producing story and theatricality.
Although the body will be the basis of the work to be done, it will also be necessary to incorporate contents of staging, dramatic development and collective work, to get closer to a more comprehensive knowledge of the communicative capacities of “what is not text”.

Module 4
Saturday, October 29:
“The collective creation of the Ictus Theater”
Prof. María Elena Duvauchelle and Paula Sharim

The objective of this module is to show and unravel the keys to collective creation, through a theatrical deconstruction of 2 scenes, which are part of an emblematic work of the group and whose dramatic and creative axes very broadly represent what ICTUS is.
