The AVANTI Performing Arts Foundation announces the holding of the fifth version of the Artistic Education Seminar “Transforming Education”, which will take place on November 11 and 12 at GAM, within the framework of the celebration of the Ibero-American Year of the Performing Arts. The event will be free, open to the public and broadcast live on the Foundation's YouTube channel.

Aimed at teachers, artists and professionals from different disciplines interested in artistic education, pedagogy and work with youth, the seminar will offer a space for dialogue, the exchange of experiences and the generation of networks. The activity will be moderated by Rocío Villegas, in charge of the education and outreach area of the Foundation.

This year, the program includes four main instances:

Round Table: Current state of artistic education, challenges and projections, with representatives of the AVANTI Performing Foundation and invited specialists.
Pedagogical Experience Tables: Presentation of innovative initiatives in visual arts, music, literature and performing arts, selected through an open call.
Exhibitions by prominent professionals in dance and theater with experience in creative work with youth.
Interdisciplinary work table to generate proposals that strengthen artistic education in different contexts.

Call

The call to apply for pedagogical experiences will be open from August 19 to September 25, 2025 for teachers and artist-educators in the Metropolitan Region who work with young people between 13 and 18 years old in theater, music, dance, literature, visual arts or interdisciplinary proposals. The selected experiences will be announced on October 3, 2025.
