The IX Interschool Festival of Youth Arts, AVANTI, will bring together 87 artistic works from the areas of theater, music, dance, visual arts and literature, from 36 educational establishments and 28 communes in the country. The young participants will have the opportunity to exhibit their works at GAM, living an enriching experience that places them as protagonists of their own creative process.

The Festival, like every year, encourages exchange and socialization between young artists through free artistic workshops and spaces for dialogue that will allow them to continue strengthening their skills and knowledge. This year, it will be developed entirely in GAM thanks to a collaboration agreement between the entity and our GAM Liaison and Mediation area. In our Room A1, the theater proposals of the participating schools will be presented.

Among the activities open to the public, on Wednesday, Nov. 13, the seminar Transforming Education: “Experiences that Inspire” will be held, which seeks to make visible the contribution of teachers and artist educators to artistic education by exposing inspiring pedagogical experiences that occur in both the formal and informal educational spheres. Eight teachers and artist educators from the regions of Valparaíso, Metropolitana, O'Higgins and Araucanía will share their approaches and reflections, offering the public a valuable opportunity to reflect on the transformative role of artistic education.

To participate in this activity, you must register in advance.

“In an increasingly digital world, it is essential to recover meeting spaces, meet, see each other and reconnect in person. The Avanti Festival encourages encounters and cultural participation among youth from an early age, bringing the school environment closer to the professional environment and building community through art. These spaces are essential for the comprehensive development of young people, both personally and socially.”

— Luz María Eyunadi, AVANTI director.
