The same ingredient can be used to cook many things. In this work the central element is the strings, as the title says. With them, the Danish Karl Stets creates everything from animals, such as snakes and fish, to a path: the famous tightrope.
Stets combines circus, dance and manipulation of objects in this show. The ropes allow him to be a puppeteer, magician, juggler and tightrope walker (tightrope acrobat). But he also plays like a clown with a suitcase, a megaphone and almost a dozen mouse traps.
Cuerdo arrives for the first time in Latin America after six years of presentations in Europe and Asia. Although it is the first time that the show is in Chile, Stets already came in 2008, together with the Circo Lice de Luxe that he founded in Barcelona. Trained in schools in Denmark and Russia, Stets has more than 20 years of circus career. He is invited by the creators ofLaszlo & Koqoshka, Pacheco Kaulen and Hnos.
