Space that seeks to address the recycling of buildings as a strategy against the housing deficit and territorial sustainability, exploring how the reconversion of infrastructure can regenerate the city, enable new ways of living and value what is built.
The meeting Recycling of Buildings for Housing (program – adapt – build) proposes to reflect on the reuse of existing infrastructures beyond the technical response, understood as an opportunity for urban and cultural transformation.
With the participation of Joaquín Duch Salas and Matías Jarpa Valenzuela, and the moderation of Cecilia Aldunate, the conversation will emphasize experiences located in the center of Santiago, where the challenges of housing, real estate development and sustainability converge.
The activity seeks to open a debate at the intersection between architecture, city and habitability, placing the recycling of buildings as a key alternative for the present and the future.
