(Re)Action: disciplinary debates around the teaching of contemporary intervention on Chilean architectural heritage

(Re)Acción is a conversation that invites us to think about Chilean architectural heritage as a field in constant dispute, reviewing the current methodologies with which its intervention is taught in architecture schools.

The activity will feature the participation of Francisco Herrera Muñoz, Juan Sabbagh Pissano and Carlos Mailliet Aránguiz, who will debate the challenges of transmitting this knowledge in academic training and the importance of projecting strategies that strengthen disciplinary teaching.

From the keys of (Re)programming, (Re)adapting and (Re)constructing, it is proposed to train architects attentive to what is built, what is obsolete and what is latent, promoting a situated practice that is aware of its context.
