Chance reading workshop

Through group reading aloud and group comments we will approach authors such as Julio Cortázar, Carl Jung, Arthur Koestler, Jorge Luis Borges and Paul Auster.

About Mili Rodríguez Villouta

Journalist, writer and cultural editor, with studies in Philosophy, Journalism and History of the Andean World (University of Chile, Central University of Ecuador and FLACSO, respectively). Cultural coordinator at NEW magazine, and Art Editor of Diario HOY, Quito, Ecuador.

Journalist for Apsi magazine in the 90s. Collaborator in media such as Capital magazines; El Sábado y YA, from El Mercurio and for five years, in charge of The Pleasures and the Books, reviews, Diario La Nación. Editor between 2012 and 2015 of the cultural magazine La Noche.

He has published Tentativas de amor a un monster (stories) and the novels Amanece que no es poco (Editorial Sudamericana), La Teoría de la Superficie, Las Farewells Perfectas (both from Editorial Cuarto Propio); and the journalistic books You will never see me as you saw me (Editorial Ornitorrinco), Everyone loved me and no one paid my electricity (Editorial Planeta), Terror in the Labyrinth: Islam against the West? (Cuarto Propio), and Cecilia Querida (Planeta Argentina).

He has won the Book Fund Scholarship for professional writers three times. In 2016, she received a scholarship for her novel “Corazón en llamas”, in the process of writing.

He has carried out literary workshops at Balmaceda Arte Joven, the SENAME Center for young people deprived of liberty, in Limache; Bustamante Literary Café of Providencia; 20th Century Workshop Cultural Space Yolanda Hurtado; from Bellavista. His most recent workshops are: “From Borges to Bolaño” (2015) and “Shakespeare, 400 years” (2016), both at GAM.
