The XX Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism of Chile invites you to a session of preliminary dialogues, composed of a conversation around fragments of the documentary "JAAR el lament de las imagens", which will be presented by its own filmmakers.
The activity will feature the presence of Paula Rodríguez and Paola Castillo, filmmakers of the documentary "JAAR el lament de las imagens" , in direction, script and production respectively.
To stimulate urgent dialogues, within a framework of architecture and urbanism, architects Juan Pablo Corvalán and José Abasolo will participate. Additionally, Enrique Rivera, curator of the upcoming media arts biennial, joins the dialogue; and Silvia Veloso, lawyer and poet.
These preliminary dialogues are intended to prepare, from Santiago, the context of certain topics that we will discuss in the next Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism of Chile, to be inaugurated on October 26 in Valparaíso. We will talk about essential issues of the profession, its scope in terms of social and public role.
