During the 18th Chico, the Ludoteca has prepared different activities, such as workshops and storytelling, which join its learning and fun space for boys and girls.
On Saturday the 28th, the space will open at 10:30 a.m. with free play, drawings and recreation until 12 p.m. After lunch time, the Storytelling begins, from 3 p.m. by BiblioGAM mediators.
On Sunday the 29th, the opening is again at 10:30 a.m. with free play. At 12 noon, there will be the Wicker Workshop that will highlight the crafts of the artisans. The activity will be guided by Taller Garua, where children will be able to create their own wicker fish, inspired by our heritage work by artist Alfredo Manzano. This workshop is a unique opportunity for boys and girls to discover the art of working with wicker and connect with an important part of our cultural heritage.
The GAM Playroom brings together all the variables to promote motor, cognitive, language, affective and social development. The objective is to create a space of creativity for children where free play and sensory activities achieve a space for creation and bonding between boys and girls and their caregivers.
This activation of the GAM Linking and Mediation team began in August 2022, for Children's Day and had new dates in September, for 18 Chico, and in December, in the SURA Invita cycle. During 2023 it opens in instances that accompany family works, in August, for Children's Month and on the 18th Chico.
In 2024, Ludoteca is presented by Seguros SURA for Children's Day.
