An opportunity to collaboratively learn about photography, interpret images and, above all, to talk about this discipline around topics that the participants themselves can propose.
In the November cycle the focus is on the relationship between women and photography, analyzing from their position as photographic “object/desire” to their role as “subject” through the most outstanding female photographers in history.
We will give an account of the photographic particularities of some classic artists such as Diane Arbus, Lee Miller and Vivian Maier. We also include more current looks like the dreamy Elena Kalis and the inclusive and rebellious Bettina Rheims.
Likewise, we will review the photographic works of each author, in addition to"Photography and activism", by Jorge Luis Marzo; “Gerda Taro, war photographer”, by Fernando Olmeda; among other articles and files.
