From one day to the next, an 11-year-old boy named Leo is hospitalized and undergoes chemotherapy to treat an illness. Despite being unable to play like other children, Leo has the gift of leaving his body and passing through walls as if he were a ghost. One day, a police officer who was after a mysterious gangster who wants to take over the city and cause chaos, has an accident and breaks his leg. The police officer is taken to the same hospital as Leo.
Leo will begin to establish a friendship with this police officer who knows his big secret and from the hospital, he will try to help him capture the dangerous criminal loose in the city. Leo is able to guide the police officer from his hospital chair to stalk the bandit's steps, but they will also meet a very nosy young journalist who will want to discover the secrets between the police officer, little Leo and the criminal.
