Several stands with about a hundred dogs and cats that mammal lovers can meet, register and take home. There will also be shops with accessories and an Animal Care Advisory Pavilion.
On Sunday, October 6, between 2 and 7 p.m., a new pet adoption day will be held in the central square of GAM.
There will be different organizations with about a hundred dogs and cats, mostly puppies, that mammal lovers will be able to meet, register and take home. There will also be a municipal information stand and shops with accessories.
Each of the animals will be checked by a veterinarian to be adopted in optimal conditions. Everyone will have their vaccination and deworming card up to date, while those over six months old will be sterilized.
For the sixth consecutive year, GAM hosts this event to provide a space for pet lovers.
The objective of this day is to find a permanent home for these pets, raise public awareness about abandonment, animal abuse, sterilization and the need for the development of public policies on responsible ownership for the entire country.
