Suffering from the lack of his father, a boy leaves his town and discovers a fantastic world dominated by animal-machines and strange beings. An unusual animation made with different artistic techniques that portrays the problems of the modern world through the eyes of a child.
A story full of metaphors where the countryside is symbolized by small lines of color and the city is a mixture of grays and a futuristic nightmare. Through various processes and materials, “O Menino e o Mundo” invites the viewer to immerse themselves in a universe where everything is possible.
