GAM will once again be the epicenter of technology, innovation, science and the future in the country, with 100% free admission. In its third edition in Santiago, Nerdearla brings a lineup of world-class speakers that combines software engineering legends with top-level local scientific talent.

One of the great guests is Chris Lattner, creator of LLVM, Swift and the Mojo language, who will participate virtually. Lattner is one of the most influential figures in the history of software engineering: his work on compilers and programming languages has impacted millions of developers around the world, from the 2 billion Apple devices running Swift to the next generation of infrastructure for artificial intelligence.

Grady Booch, one of the architects of modern software, Chief Scientist for Software Engineering at IBM Research, will also join virtually. Booch is a recipient of the Lovelace Medal, the IEEE Computer Pioneer Award, and a Fellow of IEEE and ACM. His work in software architecture and object-oriented modeling laid the foundation for modern software engineering.

Another of the international speakers of this edition will be Jeff Barr, Chief Evangelist of Amazon Web Services, who will visit the city of Santiago for the event. It is one of the most recognized voices in the cloud ecosystem worldwide.

The 2026 edition also highlights Chilean scientific and technological production with top-level in-person speakers:
• Carla Hermann — Physicist from the University of Chile, member of Quantum 100 (UNESCO global initiative for the International Year of Quantum Science) and member of the Chilean Expert Commission on Quantum Technologies. He will talk about the future of quantum computing and the opportunities that are opening up for the country.
• Andrés Abeliuk — Professor of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chile and researcher at the National Center for Artificial Intelligence (CENIA). Academic Coordinator of the Postgraduate Diploma in AI at the University of Chile, will provide a look at the advances and challenges of artificial intelligence in Latin America.
• Fernanda Urrutia — Astronomer and EPO Liaison of the Rubin Observatory (NOIRLab/AURA), dedicated to bringing astronomy and science closer to diverse audiences. His participation connects Chile's astronomical tradition with frontier technology.
• Pablo Fredrikson — Recurring speaker of Nerdearla and a reference in the Spanish-speaking tech community will tell his experience using the most popular tool of the modern era of AI: OpenClaw.
