The treatment this film has received is curious. It is considered by Aldo Garay himself, and spread everywhere, as an unfinished film. In fact, the very subtitle indicates its particularity as a work in progress (or abandoned or failed in its aspiration of a major work in terms of time and structure).
However, it can be seen without problems as if it were just another Aldo Garay film, although its formal finish, its dispersion, may at times be evident. More than an unfinished project, it seems like a notebook where the story of the transsexual Julia and her husband Ignacio (who would appear again in The Wedding) recount together and separately aspects of their life as a couple marked by Julia's infidelities (which always appear justified by her desire to reaffirm herself as a woman or for utilitarian reasons) and her husband's alcoholism. At times tender, at times disturbing, it is a claustrophobic work, where the world revolves only around them as if it were a psychodrama, a therapeutic film.
