This space seeks to address the challenges of social housing in vulnerable contexts, exploring micro-settlement policies, processes and projects as neighborhood regeneration strategies, where architectural design plays a fundamental role.
The seminar Micro Settlement Alternatives for neighborhood regeneration proposes a reflection on the possibilities and limitations of intervening in built and vulnerable contexts from social housing.
With the participation of Joaquín Duch Salas and Matías Jarpa Valenzuela, and the moderation of Cecilia Aldunate, initiatives that arise from industry, the State, architecture offices and academia will be presented. The meeting seeks to show how, despite limited resources, architectural design can play a key role in the regeneration of neighborhoods and improving the quality of life.
