"Live Lastarria in the Four Seasons" is a renewed cultural and urban proposal organized by the Business Association of the Lastarria Neighborhood (AGEBLA), GAM, the Metropolitan Regional Government and the Municipality of Santiago. During one day there will be family activities, live music, gastronomy and entertainment to enjoy the winter.
The event seeks to celebrate the spirit of the Lastarria neighborhood in each season of the year, through thematic festivals that integrate culture, art, gastronomy, local commerce and urban experiences designed for all audiences.
The entire program will be deployed in a pedestrian circuit that will cover Merced and Lastarria streets, with its central point in the GAM Esplanade.
At around 12, the opening of the event will take place on the Esplanade, in front of our central plaza. At 1 and 4:40 p.m. there will be a cooking show with José Ramón Chopería and Sanguchería Patrimonial Chilena. Later at 3:00 p.m., an artistic presentation and in between the music of DJ Paula Achurra. For all audiences, at 6:15 p.m. boleros will be heard before waiting for the final closing of the group SAIKO, which will be in acoustic format.
In Merced throughout the day there will be an exhibition of guitars by Virginia Cordero and artists and an exhibition of paintings. While in the surrounding area there will be stands of crafts, design, gastronomy, local products and background music.
Designed as a recreational, cultural and family meeting, this event – free and open to the entire community – will be an ideal opportunity to say goodbye to the holidays with an unforgettable activity for adults and children, in a unique heritage environment. This edition will be set to highlight the best of winter and spaces designed for the enjoyment of the whole family.
