The workshop, directed by Marcela Chandía, teacher of Japanese Language and Japanese Poetry, aims to offer attendees the opportunity to learn about one of the classic works of Japanese poetry, its genesis, inspiration, development and how it has influenced not only other Japanese authors.
Matsuo Bashou is known worldwide for his beautiful haiku, but few people know that it was he who laid the foundations for the “smallest poetry in the world.” On this occasion we will study his most famous and representative work, Oku no hosomichi, or according to the name of the Spanish version, Paths of Oku.
