The general objective of the workshop is to provide participants with the basic conceptual tools for the appreciation of the visual arts, based on the review of artists, works and specific and fundamental facts for the history of art.
By introducing the participant to the visual story of the history of art and the stylistic traditions that follow one another, the course seeks to incorporate sufficient aesthetic-cultural capital necessary for the understanding and assimilation of contemporary visual proposals, both locally and internationally. In this way, the course aims to train related theoretical-practical skills with a critical perspective, essential tools for an optimal approach to current art and its own dissemination spaces such as museums, galleries, art schools, etc.
The workshop, taught by Professor Felipe Baeza, will be carried out in verbal and sign language, therefore the attendance of deaf and hearing people is expected.
