Macarena Díaz Albrecht, from her sensitivity as a deaf artist, invites you to learn various engraving techniques. It proposes art as a way of learning that shows the diversity that is present in communication.
Through lips, modulation or using her hands, the artist's particular way of expressing herself fulfills a double function: on the one hand, it establishes an inclusive channel of communication and also as a requirement to create work. That is, in this workshop participants will learn to use the engraving technique as another possibility of communication and language, just like sign language.
Through the engraving technique and the drypoint, pochooir, chinecolle and poopee procedures, two stages of work production will be developed: the first consists of expressing feelings, thoughts and emotions through colors; The second will focus on creating a collective work that reflects the experience of teaching and communicating in a unique and unrepeatable way, what the artist facilitator calls "inclusive art".
