The Inclusive Art Biennial aims to recognize and disseminate the works of artists with special needs, offering them an exhibition platform to insert them into the local cultural artistic circuit.

From Thursday, October 4 to 6, the second “Inclusive Art Biennial” will be held, organized by Teletón and Banco Chile, in GAM and is part of the pre-campaign activities for this Teletón 2018.

The inauguration of the biennial will take place on October 4 at 12:30 p.m. in the Plaza
Central GAM and will feature artistic participation by the Telethon Ensemble and Choir made up of 150 people.

The activity will have four main permanent exhibitions (9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.):

1. CURATORIAL EXHIBITION OF SELF-PORTRAITS
Place: GAM, Central Hall
What it is about: selection of 60 self-portraits that reflects on the relationship between art and
identity - how we see ourselves and how they see us - by artists with and without disabilities.
Exhibitors: adult painters and the Teletón artists; Paula Abarca, Isidora Vega, Sebastián Cuadra and Jonathan González. Date: Thursday, October 4 to Saturday, October 6.

2. ART MARKET
Place: GAM, Plaza Zócalo
What it is about; space for the exhibition and sale of paintings, sculptures and other plastic works
by artists with disabilities.
Date: from Thursday, October 4 to Saturday, October 6.

3. COMPETITION SAMPLE
Place: GAM, Plaza Central
What it is about: Selection of 50 works participating in the II Plastic Arts Contest by
artists with disabilities.
Jury: Marcela Romagnoli (sculptor), Jorge Artus (plastic artist and painter) and Payo Söchting
(designer, illustrator and muralist).
Date: Thursday 04 to Saturday, October 6.

4. TELETÓN EXHIBITION
Place: GAM, Plaza Central
What it is about: exhibition of the most representative two-dimensional works of each of the
Art Workshops of the 14 Teletón Institutes throughout the country.
Date: Thursday, October 4th to Saturday, October 6th.

In addition to these activities, there will be different Workshops, working groups, colloquiums, dance and music presentations, among which a presentation by the rock group “Sinergia” stands out on Thursday, October 4 at 6:00 p.m.
