For 2015 the central theme is "Heritage and Future", so the entire community is invited to reflect on the future of heritage and recreate it as part of a heritage that we must hand over to new generations. GAM joins in with the following activities:
Graciela Iturbide - Photographs
90 black and white photographs, developed in an analog system and belonging to the work carried out by the prominent Mexican photographer Graciela Iturbide in different years. The theme corresponds to the series "Naturata", "Frida Khalo's Bath", as well as "Self-Portraits", "Juchitán", "You Will Be Those Who Live in the Sand", "Birds", "Fiesta y Muerte" and "In the Name of the Father".

Ana González, 100 years old
BiblioGAM commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of the beloved actress Ana González, better known as Desideria, with a display of her heritage. Through photographs, personal objects, and recognitions, visitors will be able to learn about some milestones in the career of this actress, winner of the 1969 National Art Prize.

70 years of popular imagination
MAPA Museum Hall wants to celebrate its history through a commemorative exhibition, reconstructing the 1943 exhibition. 210 objects from its heritage collection, with techniques in ceramics, textiles, carving, plaster, glass, beads and mixed techniques from the popular and indigenous world. Together with a series of manuscripts and emblematic exhibition catalogs from the Tomás Lago Archive, which reveal the historical importance of the MAPA at a global and local level.
