Come with your family and let's travel through surprising stories through reading stories in album book format. Guided by storyteller Nico Toro, the activity combines oral storytelling, audience participation and imagination, bringing girls, boys and their families closer to stories by contemporary authors that address current issues in a playful and entertaining way.
After the reading, participants will be able to unleash their creativity in a robot mask workshop, creating characters inspired by the universes and adventures discovered during the day. An invitation to listen, imagine, play and create as a family.
Nico Toro is an actor, puppeteer and storyteller. With a career completely related to the children's area, he began his work performing plays for children and later was part of the team of puppeteers of the television program 31 Minutos and later host of a science program, called Científicos de Otro Mundo, broadcast on Cubox on Channel 13.
Graduated from the Mustakis Foundation Storytelling School, he is the storyteller for publishers such as Pehuén, Fondo de Cultura Económica and ZigZag. It also collaborates with the Futuro UC School Library, the Yo Te Leo Foundation, the LEA UDP Library, and the Plagio Cultural Foundation, among others. It is part of the constant programming of the MUT and a recurring guest at prominent book fairs in Chile such as FILSA, Ñuñoa Book Fair, Povidencia Children's and Youth Fair, Primavera del Libro and Ovalle Book Fair, Cultural Corporations of Vitacura, Ñuñoa and Las Condes, along with monthly presentations at Espacio Ñuñoa, GAM Bookstore, Baobab Bookstores, Laberinto, Kalimera, Bros, schools and kindergartens in Santiago and the Regions
