More than 160 independent and university publishers, national and international, in addition to an extensive program of cultural activities will be part of the programming of this Christmas version.

For its Christmas version, the renowned fair will have the participation of more than 166 national independent publishers and 25 publishers from Argentina, Spain, Peru and Colombia.

Like other years, this event is characterized by its varied cultural programming around literature. This year there will be more than 40 activities including presentations, launches, conversations and the classic Furious Reading, where attendees can read part of their creations at an open microphone.

Among the novelties, the inauguration of La Librería de La Furia stands out, a book store that will bring together independent publishers of different types, allowing for an increase in the current editorial offering.

The director of the event, Simón Ergas, points out that "The Summer Fury is the most classic version of our fair for independent publishers and with this there will be fourteen versions held at the GAM Center."

"Every year we do everything possible to have the greatest number of publishers within what space allows us, in order to support the enormous and unstoppable diversity of books that are being produced in our country. We invite you to visit and walk the halls of this pre-Christmas fair, and this year to also visit our La Furia Bookstore, a project that adds to continue making visible the multiplicity of surprising books and all the themes that are being published in Chile," he adds.
