The forum brings together musical, scientific and technological innovations. It is aimed at professionals and fans of sound and music technologies and seeks to share experiences and knowledge through conferences, master classes and performances. It will also include a concert with works by IRCAM composers, Héctor Parra and José Miguel Fernández, performed by the DMUS Ensamble under the direction of Andrés Maupoint.

The day includes composition master classes by Héctor Parra, professor of the IRCAM Cursus since 2013, new gestural interfaces by José Miguel Fernández, composer, developer and producer in musical computing at IRCAM, scientific talks by Carlos Agón, professor of computer science at UPMC University and member of the CNRS (France's National Center for Scientific Research) at IRCAM, Jean-Louis Giavitto, research director of the CNRS, founder in 2004 of the IBISC lab (Informatics, Integrative Biology and Complex Systems) at the University of Evry and Genopole and member of IRCAM since 2011 and Philippe Esling, associate professor at IRCAM since 2013.

Concert
On Friday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m., Héctor Parra and José Miguel Fernández will present their compositions, performed by the Ensemble of the Department of Music and Sonology, directed by André Maupoint.

THE IRCAM FORUM WORKSHOPS in collaboration with the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, the University of Chile, the CMM (Center for Mathematical Modeling), the GAM (Gabriela Mistral Center) are organizing an event aimed at Creativity for Sound and Music Technologies in Santiago, Chile. This event is sponsored by the French Institute, the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, the University of Chile, the CMM, the GAM and the Chilean Embassy in Paris.
