A program that aims to install a space for the exchange of knowledge and development of experiences that directly connects the talents of the audiovisual industry with the team behind productions such as “La Memoria Infinita”, “Una mujer fantastica”, “Baby Bandito”, among others.
With the aim of opening an unprecedented event, the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center and the renowned production company Fábula come together to carry out “Fabula Training in GAM”, aimed at professionals in the audiovisual sector.
The program aims to install a space for the exchange of knowledge and development of experiences that directly connects the talents of the audiovisual industry with the team behind productions such as “La Memoria Infinita”, “Una mujer fantastica”, “Baby Bandito”, among others.
In this way, there will be thirteen professionals who will guide the learning process, including speakers such as Pablo Larraín, Juan de Dios Larraín, Ángela Poblete, Rocío Jadue, Mariane Hartard, Paz Urrutia, Alejandro Wise, among others.
"The creative industries are a field of employability, innovation and meaning. That is why we decided to promote, together with Fabula, this training that allows us to contribute to the professionalization of audiovisual talent and generate networks to project creativity as an economic, cultural and social engine," said Alejandra Martí Olbrich, executive director of the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center.
The training participants will be selected by call during the month of March, and then attend in-person classes at the cultural center between April 21 and 29, 2026. These will be divided into five intensive days, each of them consisting of two 90-minute sessions, adding up to a complete experience for attendees that allows them to apply what they have learned in their own developments.
"We appreciate the invitation that GAM makes us, which will allow us to share our experience and what we have learned in these 23 years that we have just completed. In the production company we have developed a method in the different areas of production that range from the generation of ideas, its production structure, legal, financial elements, human resources, and the execution of each of the projects. For us it is important to be connected with the audiovisual community, so we are happy for this opportunity" explained Juan de Dios Larraín, General Director of Fabula.
Within this framework, expository classes, analysis of real cases and conferences will be held, with the aim of maximizing their impact on the creative community.
