Along with the premiere of The Tempest, a free film series will be held that takes inspiration from Shakespeare's text.
On June 2, the film The Unknown Planet (1956), directed by Fred M. Wilcox, will be screened; on June 9 the film The Tempest (1991), by Peter Greenaway, and on June 16 it is the turn of The Tempest (1979), directed by Derek Jarman. On June 23, the cycle closes with The Tempest (2010), directed by Julie Taymor.
