The 6th version of the Santiago Women's Film Festival is a free event and is dedicated to gender issues in the country.

Conversation with Ivonne Welbon, independent filmmaker and executive director of Chicken and Egg Pictures, who will share with the public her experiences with her foundation to promote documentary projects carried out and her recommendations regarding the realization of projects.
Yvonne Welbon is an award-winning American independent director, producer and screenwriter. He has directed 8 films, including Living with Pride: Ruth C. Ellis @ 100 (1999) and Sisters in Cinema (2003), made in residence at Sundance. She is currently the Creative Director of Chicken and Egg Pictures.
Master Class: “Audiovisual Motivation: a film adventure”

The prominent Spanish producer Melina Frías will be in charge of this Master Class, aimed mainly at young people interested in studying a career related to cinema. In the day-long talk, the producer will take a tour of the ins and outs of filming a film, talk about the different jobs hidden behind the cameras and deny some prejudices regarding the profession.
Melina Frías has worked in the logistics of independent films and coordinated the transportation area of blockbusters such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), James Bond: Specter (2015), Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation (2015), Fast & Furious 7 (2015), among others; and in Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Cloud Atlas (2012), Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011) and Frankenweenie (2012).
