Participate in this training program aimed at the artistic community (artists, managers and students of related careers), who are interested in applying for projects in cultural spaces and possible sources of financing.

GESTA (Learning Transfer Management for Culture) is a project promoted by GAM with the support of Seguros SURA, which aims to enhance the artistic practice of the participants and expand their opportunities for success in the field of art and cultural management.

Through a free program of five classes, subjects such as project design, communication and marketing strategies, preparation of technical sheets, sources of financing and mediation, will be addressed together with prominent leaders, managers and teachers related to Culture.

The project is aimed at the artistic community (artists, managers and students of related careers) interested in applying for projects in cultural spaces and possible sources of financing, providing key tools for the design and management of cultural projects; distinctive characteristics of communication and marketing; dissemination platforms; elements that must be included in a technical sheet; preparation of clear, accurate and convincing budgets and funding requests; and effective mediation strategies appropriate to the cultural context and environment.

Classes will take place only in person, between August and December 2024, on the following dates:

  • Monday, August 26, from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Monday, September 9, from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Monday, October 14, from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Monday, November 4, from 6 to 9 p.m.
  • Monday, December 2, from 6 to 9 p.m.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the MNBA Foundation.

Catalina Devia

Theater designer and manager

Module: Technical Sheet Design

Theater designer from the University of Chile. His work has left a mark on the national theater. It is part of the Teatro Niño Proletario and La Provincia companies. She has participated as a designer of various productions on the contemporary scene. University teacher in theater schools and art director in cinema.

Julio Chavez Calderon

Artist and educator

Module: Design of Linkage, Mediation and Participation program

Master in Visual Arts from the University of Chile and Diploma in Critical Fashion Studies from the Catholic University. Graduate in Education and Professor of Visual Arts from the Metropolitan University of Educational Sciences. He is a member of the Artistic Mediation Network and works as a content developer and host of the podcast "Pedagogical Routes: an art and education podcast." He works in Content Mediation in the Public Programs and Mediation Team of the National Center for Contemporary Art, and is an integral designer at the El Padre theater company.

Paula Gonzalez

Audiovisual Director by profession of the Pontifical Catholic University. Diploma in Aesthetics and Philosophy from the same university. Founder of Matea Digital, which provides digital content consultancy for projects, organizations, brands and companies. Content Director at Noise Media and Content Manager at Pejerrey Social. He is part of the Viart Foundation board of directors.

María Cecilia Noton

Sound engineer, cultural manager, artist

Module: Budget and financing

Sound Engineer from the Vicente Pérez Rosales University. Master in Cultural Management from the University of Chile. Founder of Lupa consultancies, specialized in cultural management, mediation and production of artistic events and reading promotion. Undergraduate and postgraduate teacher at the universities of Chile, Faculty of Arts, Alberto Hurtado, Las Américas and Finis Terrae. Creator and coordinator of academic programs for the University of Chile and University of Las Américas, evaluator of thesis work and member of research on topics linked to reading promotion, cultural management and its professionalization, the articulation between the creative industry and the cultural market.
