Thirty ways to discover what this discipline is all about, with classes for beginners and advanced that teach various ways to practice it, its intensities, challenges and characteristic benefits. All free.

Ten different institutions offer classes aimed at the general public and others for specific groups, such as Kundalini for older adults, prenatal Kundalini, Iyengar for pregnant women, yoga for women and yoga for adults with different abilities or special needs.

There are also family classes, such as Yoga and confidence, which seeks to develop bonds between parents and children (ages 4 to 11) through body contact, both through postures and breathing as well as games and songs. Along the same lines is the Shantala massage class, a technique that is applied to babies and children. And for all types of couples, without discrimination, partner yoga is offered.

First-timers and conservatives can access classic hatha yoga practices in various modalities: hatha for beginners; hatha for life, focused on physical and mental health; intense hatha, Shakti style, for people in good physical condition; hatha yoga and meditation with bowls. There are also different levels of Kundalini (integral), Vinyasa (fluid) and Ashtanga (repeated series) practice, and less conventional modalities, such as acro yoga, which uses the vertigo of acrobatics; harmonic yoga, which works with agility on the coordination of breathing and movement, and the very executive yoga lunch, which is done at lunch time and in work clothes.

Along with the practice, there are activities such as concerts of healing sounds and Kundalini mantras, sound therapy sessions, Kandyan dance and a talk on traditional yoga given by Yogacharya Tonmoy Shome, representative of the Institute of Yoga Therapy of India.
