Eureka Festival

EUREKA Science belongs to everyone, dare to live it! It is a free festival where the whole family can enjoy science and technology in a simple and educational way. 
This first version of the festival, organized byTo celebrate the start of Explora Week, it is created by the PAR Explora North Metropolitan Region project, executed by the University of Chile through the Advanced Center for Chronic Diseases (ACCDiS).

The EUREKA! festival It will have two large areas where various activities will take place.
In Plaza Zócalo there will be “A journey through science”, where there will be 22 stands and the main stage, where various university and private institutions will show their activities and developments through scientific workshops, conversations, plays, various scientific shows and, in addition, the creation of a live mural by the scientist and graffiti artist Andro Montoya.

The second zone will be located in Plaza Central, here you can find interactive stands, educational workshops and the “Kids Zone” sector where boys and girls can carry out experiments, listen to science storytellers, observe the city's birds and a series of entertaining surprise activities prepared for the little ones.
