Before being GAM, this building was Diego Portales and before that, Unctad III. One of the most remembered services from that initial life, in 1972, was its popular casino, the first self-service casino to open in Chile. To remember it, a dining room with good flavors, trays and the invitation to meet and talk with strangers is installed in the Central Plaza.

From Monday to Sunday the lunch menu is Chilean, with a single dish accompanied by bread, pebre and iced tea. They can be beans with reins, lentils, stuffed potatoes, tomaticán, puree with brown or sausage, potatoes with mote or karapulkra (nortino pork charquicán). There is also a vegetarian option with artichoke, corn in crown and egg.

In the afternoons of the week and from noon on weekends there are various sandwiches: pork, ham and hot cheese, poultry, pepper, mechada, chorizo or shredded brown, and vegetable omelette. You can also eat corn with butter in a crown, among other options.

At the end of the morning, the cart focuses its offer on mote con huesillo and iced tea with herbs such as lemon verbena and lemon balm.
