Ch.ACO Cycle talks: Eduardo Martínez Bonati

The Ch.ACO conversa program offers meetings where artists, curators, designers, architects and more meet for the first time to share their diverse perspectives and anecdotes around a common theme. During the sessions, the panelists talk synchronously and share their experiences with photographic and audiovisual media, among others. On this occasion, the panelists invite the public to continue exploring the work of Eduardo Martínez Bonati, regarding the exhibition "The path to myself."

On Thursday, August 29, the talk will address the artist and his teaching method. His displacement of engraving, his role as a curator and the implications of art and architecture in public space. Conversing: Camilo Yáñez, artist, curator, manager, producer; Elisa Cárdenas, journalist and curator of the exhibition at GAM; Loreto Lyon, architect and academic, Director of the USS School of Architecture; Sebastián Gray, architect, academic, columnist, member of the GAM Board of Directors; Isabel Rosemblatt, artist, USS teacher; Pamela Navarro, MAC Conservation and Documentation coordinator; and Elodie Fulton, architect and Director Ch.ACO.

On Friday the 30th, the themes will be the avant-garde of art in Chile; Art incorporated into architecture; the UNCTAD III building, documentaries and archives, and the second stage of construction of GAM. Conversing: Bruno Salas, visual artist, filmmaker and cultural manager; Sebastián Baraona, architect of the current GAM building and assistant professor at USS University; Isabel García, researcher, curator and teacher, specialist in art historical archives; Alejandro Ocaña, artist, USS teacher; Mariano Sánchez, researcher and curator of Ch.ACO art projects; and Elodie Fulton, architect, director Ch.ACO.

Both days will have visits mediated by the artists' exhibition at 11 a.m.
