The artist will share the creative process of his exhibition in a 90-minute conversation.

By selecting some of his large-format figurative paintings present in the exhibition, the artist will tell experiences, inspirations and anecdotes, as well as what his career in the field of arts has meant, using a realistic technique over the last four years.

Probably the most seen works by Lorca are the Bicentennial Portraits, a series of paintings that have been in the Baquedano metro since 2010.

The event is part of the Meeting with Barrio Arte Artists that will be held in the Lastarria - Forestal perimeter during the last week of September. These are conversations with artists, curators and managers of the exhibitions that are exhibited at GAM, at the MAVI, at the Museum of Fine Arts, at the Posada del Corregidor Art Gallery, at the Flach store and gallery, at Espacio O and at Plop! Gallery. Thanks to the support of the Danish beer Tuborg, the sponsorship of the Municipality of Santiago and the Santiago Regional Tourism Corporation, this week we will learn about techniques, secrets and obsessions of visual artists who inhabit Barrio Arte. In addition, the public will be able to create their own works by drawing and knitting at Colmado Coffee & Bar.
