Contemporary German Drama Seminar

The talk consists of the study and analysis of some of the works of the most innovative and influential German playwrights of the last twenty years (René Pollesch, Dea Loher, Falk Richter, Marius von Mayenburg and Roland Schimmelpfenning). Through reading, analysis and group reflection, an attempt will be made to awaken in the participants a new appreciation of the dramatic text, to reach an understanding of the distinctive aspects of this dramaturgy.
