The closing of the Biennial is a moment of synthesis and projection: a space to collect the discussions, learnings and experiences displayed during ten days of programming, and to open collective futures from the perspective of the double exhibition.
The curatorial team and the authorities present will give closing words, highlighting the diversity of views gathered around the urgency of working on what exists and enabling new ways of inhabiting our cities.
The day will culminate with the keynote talk by Giusto Van Campenhout, entitled Another air, time, light and space. This is an architecture practice based in Brussels and Buenos Aires, co-founded by Santiago Giusto and Nelson Van Campenhout.
His projects—whether in homes, adaptations of the existing or the construction of interior patios and gardens—rehearse diffuse boundaries between interior and exterior, incorporate ruins, vegetation and diverse materials, and explore sensitive ways of projecting from what is inherited. His work proposes a fertile and porous architecture, capable of reimagining the common from the everyday, in resonance with the idea of double exposure.
