Citizen Reading: the voice of Pedro Lemebel

This meeting pays tribute to Pedro Lemebel, the artist and writer who captured the glories and pains of our country. From the mud of Zanjón de la Aguada to the margins of the neoliberal city, Lemebel portrayed with brutal honesty the dramas of the urban world, the AIDS crisis and our social and political fractures.

We invite you to join this collective reading, a space where their voice returns to the street to weave complicity and community. We read for their difference, and for ours, vindicating a revolutionary literature that never asked permission to name what silence tried to silence.
