As part of National Gabriela Day, GAM will celebrate this milestone with I am looking for a verse that I have lost. Marathon reading by Gabriela Mistral, a public and continuous experience dedicated to the Nobel Prize winner.

Let's celebrate the 137 years of Gabriela Mistral.

For three uninterrupted hours, three fundamental works from his career will be read: Desolación (1922), Tenderness (1924) and Tala (1938).

This citizen reading initiative is added to the marathon readings already carried out in 2025: I believe in my heart, which covered thematic blocks with Mistralian thought; and Now you guide me, occasion on which the Poem of Chile was read. Both actions, developed in the context of the 80th anniversary of the Nobel Prize in Literature, confirmed a format that seeks to reread the author and account for her validity.

For this new version, schools, universities, civil society organizations and all people interested in being part of this collective experience are specially invited, which celebrates reading as a community and deeply human act.
