In its 14th version, the festival comes with a series of free activities to GAM, including the exhibition of works that are part of the competition, conferences and educational events.

The CHILEMONOS 2025 International Animation Festival comes to GAM with free competing exhibitions, both online and in person, and activities open to the public.

This edition presents a programming with more than 22 hours of excellent animation, distributed in six competing categories, including the two qualifiers for the Academy Awards: Latin American and International Short Film. 163 works will be reproduced in different venues (GAM, Sala Cine UC, Matucana 100 and Centro Cultural Tío Lalo Parra).

The international event includes an intense agenda of training activities. Highlights include the portfolio workshop with Bárbara Espinosa (Punkrobot), the pitching laboratory with Julián Sánchez (Dinamita Animación), the short film feedback with Carla Melo, Jaime Manrique and Miguel Otálora, and the technical conferences by Kevin Durán (Believe TV), Matías Delgado (Bestia) and Martín Reyes (Martinkiings).

Panels and editorial talks are added with representatives of Warner Bros, Discovery, Disney Latin America, CNTV and NTV; to address content strategies, financing criteria and industry vision for animated projects.

Among the most notable activities is the visit of animator Craig Bartlett, creator of Hey Arnold!, who will participate in a special marathon with chapters selected by the public, a live interview with journalist Gonzalo Frías and conversation activities with fans, marking a milestone for fans of animation in Chile.

During the week you can see feature films in competition, as well as national premieres and workin-progress of outstanding series. On Thursday, the National Schools Short Film Gala will be held, with 29 short films from nine educational institutions in the country.
