Cecilia Vicuña: “The veroir began”

At 2 p.m., the visual artist, poet and activist Cecilia Vicuña will perform a performance titled “El veroir began.” Recently awarded the Velázquez Prize for Plastic Arts, Vicuña returns to Chile to perform this performance that invites us to learn how she constructed a new verb: 'veroir', a word that for the artist has been incarnated in the street and in everyone's lives.

In this performance Vicuña pays tribute to the young people who have lost their eyes due to the repressive action of the police.
