Interdram call

The application bases are available on the website www.interdram.cl until April 20. Of all the applicants, nine people will be selected nationally to carry out their writing project free of charge and under the guidance, production and training of the Interdram Playwrights Association team.

Once this intensive residency is completed, Interdram will be responsible for publishing a compilation of the works created, promoting their dissemination and circulation.

It should be noted that the Dínamo 2016 Project is carried out with financing from the Training Fondart, granted by the National Council of Culture and the Arts. In addition, it has the collaboration of the Gabriela Mistral GAM Center, which hosts all the free activities that will be taught in June, August and September, as well as an alliance with the Recoleta Cultural Corporation and the Lo Prado Cultural Corporation. Various theater groups collaborate in regional dissemination such as ATEL in Coquimbo, Cielos del Infinito in Magallanes and FEDAM in Maule, among others.

About the project
Proyecto Dínamo is a unique experience in Chile, which brings together experienced stage creators and new authors with the aim of supporting and guiding the development of new theatrical pieces, in addition to advising participants with master classes, workshops, readings and feedback, generating a network of knowledge between participants and members of the project.

For Leonardo González, student of the Master's Degree in Creative Writing in Spanish at the University of New York and member of Interdram: “presenting the draft of my text at Proyecto Dínamo 2014, was a very significant opening experience, so much so that it gave me the possibility of re-writing the complete work, thinking about a new ending and the renewal of its characters and conflicts,” commented the creator of Una pension en Yungay, a text developed at Proyecto Dínamo 2014, which was later the winner of the XVII National Exhibition of Dramaturgy.

Dínamo Project includes dramatized readings of nine texts in the process of writing, so that the authors can receive comments on their works from the viewers, through guided feedback that allows the audience to collaborate directly with the author. These readings, open and free to the public, have featured interpretations by professionals such as Julio Jung, Anita Reeves, María Elena Duvauchelle, Luz Jiménez and Regildo Castro, along with young talents such as Alejandra Díaz and Felipe Zambrano.
