The Women's Playwriting Festival invites you to participate in its training workshops, with the participation of Kelly Stuart (New York), Claudia Hidalgo and Sandra Arriagada.
1. Workshop Elements of dramatic writing, by Kelly Stuart (Columbia University)
This workshop seeks to explore the ways in which stories and characters are constructed, stopping at the moments in which perception occurs. See a dramatic or narrative text as a series of transformations: of images and objects loaded with memory and meaning that mutate over time, discovering the story as the process of understanding something that has already happened externally but that continues to unfold within us.

3. Workshop Approach to writing theatrical texts, by Claudia Hidalgo
This workshop proposes to generate an individual theoretical-practical work space, in order to promote theatrical writing based on the imagination and the unique universe of each participant. The key tools for dramatic writing will be delivered, guiding the creation of each member through writing exercises, working with the life experience of each participant and using the recovery of memory as the main engine, thus becoming narrators of events in their own history, adding to this the context in which they live today.
